A Month of Light // Week 4

Wow, the three weeks since my last post certainly flew by quickly!  The last two weeks especially so, since that is about how long I've had full energy back, and as soon as my energy returned it was right back into a busy schedule for me.  Maybe those three weeks of being forced to take it easy and rest while I was sick and recovering was God's way of slowing me down for a bit.

The last two weeks have been full of ups and downs for me emotionally as I've been sorting through  and trying to make sense of a situation, but I'm doing a lot better now, and am at peace knowing God is in control.   It's also been a time of evaluation on the direction(s) I'm headed and reviewing, revising, and refocusing on my goals.  Let's just say I'm a little pumped on the opportunities in front of me and am trying to figure out which thing to start on first; hmmm decisions decisions.  Sometimes I feel like a little puppy who is surrounded by people and is SO excited about the attention but can't decide which direction to look.  That's how I feel about goals.  With so many exciting options, I have to make a conscious effort to stop, think, and get a plan together instead of jumping from thing to thing.   Anywho...  it will be really exciting to see what doors God opens and closes as I start to pursue to some new things.

And this concludes the month of light posts.  I hope you have enjoyed them.  It was fun for me to gather these up from over the years, and remember when I took them.  The memories some of them bring back concerning the circumstances they were taken in is interesting, and enjoyable to think about.

Hope you all have a blessed weekend and Resurrection Sunday tomorrow, celebrating the greatest victory in the history of the world:  Christ's conquering over sin and death!

  1. That's what's so great about photography! Each image is a moment captured in time which allows us to show others our perspective and share our experiences while preserving the memories for ourselves. This is one reason I love photography so much; looking at my photographs helps bring back memories. Photography is such a powerful visual tool that can be used for good or bad and changes lives on a daily basis. Thank you for using your talents for the Creator!
