Becka and Cassie nominated me for the Sunshine Award! Below are my answers to their questions:
Q: What is your favorite thing to do when spring comes around?
A: Well, since spring time means gardening, I guess start seedlings, and plan the garden out. I also like switching out winter clothes for more summery ones.
Q: What kinds of animals do you own?
A: I personally own a dog, Dixie, from a litter my dad bred and a black and white paint named Shiloh. Our family though has cattle, horses, pigs, dogs, cats, and a couple of chickens!
Q: What experience in your life drew you closer to God? /Or/ In what way has God revealed himself to you?
A: There has been lots of things but probably the biggest, was losing our family home in a tornado in May of 2011. God proved his love and care over and over again in the 5 months of clean up, the move from Oklahoma to Idaho, and not having a home for 11 months. It is a long story and there are so many details of those events that I could mention so I had better just stop there.:)
Q: What is a favorite color of yours?
A: Pink and Orange... can plaid and camo be included though?
Q: Do you like to knit, crochet, or sew the best?
A: Well, I don't really know how to crochet, so it would be a toss up between knitting and sewing
Q: Which one is your favorite letter from the apostle Paul?
A: That is a hard one. I don't think I really have a favorite letter, they are all really good!
Q: What are some of your favorite old time shows?
A: The Virginian, Hogan's Heroes, The Andy Griffith Show.
Q: What is your favorite thing to bake?
A: Cheesecake!
Q: Skirts or dresses?
A: Well, I wear skirts and jeans throughout the week. Mostly skirts to church, but occasionally dresses as well. I am hoping to sew or buy some more dresses this year because I like wearing them.
Q: What household chore do you enjoy the most?
A: None?:) Of course household chores need done, therefore I do them, but I much prefer outside chores.
Q: City or country life?
A: Country all the way.

Thanks Cassie and Becka! Everyone that I would have nominated has already been nominated at least once, so I guess it is ok to not pass it on?!?
What are your answers to the questions?

Very interesting answers! You have good taste on your favorite old time shows-- Hogan's Heroes is so funny (one of my favorite episodes is Art for Hogan's Sake--but I have a dread of episodes with Col. Crittenden) & the Andy Griffith show is great!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I love Hogan's Heroes!!! I've never watched the Virginian though- I'll have to look it up! ~Rebekah
